My Zipline trip in Whistler

My Surrey buddy, Tracy and I drove to Whistler on July 28th to ride the ziplines. What a great adventure, once again. My first time was in Sept 07 with a different girlfriend. The weather forcast was for 34 celsius but would feel like 42 celsius!! The drive took about 3 hours instead of the usual 2 from Surrey. There was still construction on the Sea to Sky hwy. The weather was scorching hot!! Once we got up to the first zipline, we were in the trees and it was quite a bit cooler.
Below is a pic of us before going on the 4th line which was the longest at 2200 ft long and with a drop of 160 ft at the beginning. I took a video of my ride on that line too.One of the suspension bridges we crossed. Below is Tracy on the 5th line called the Freestyle Line. We were allowed to go upside down. At first for the 4 lines I was so sure I was gonna go upside down as I didn't in 2007 but when I got to this line I became a chicken! Tracy did it though so kudos for her bravery!! I did eventually attempt going upside down but couldn't get my legs completely in the air and around the strap.

Once we got down into the Whistler village, Tracy and my mouth's were parched!! No exagerration either!! We walked very quickly to Second Cup for smoothies and water!! That was EXACTLY what we needed. The weather did end up feeling like 42 degrees and by the time we got back to the car to drive back to Surrey we were exhausted and very, very heated up!! Cheers to another successful bucket list item!! Below is a pic of the group we went with. The guide on the far left is Jeremy from Australia and the other guide on the right is Wolter from Alberta. Four of the girls were from Georgia, one from LA, one from Seattle and then Tracy and I from BC.
