I'm a new Auntie - and the best one too!
SAIBRY ALEXANDRA
via C-section. She is my youngest sister's first baby.
Weight: 8lbs, 6.5 oz
Length: 21" long
Hair: blonde
Eyes: possibly blue
Here is proud daddy, Brad.
Here are my parents, aka proud grandparents.
I'll be going to PG tomorrow for my birthday, to see my new neice and have easter dinner at home. I'm hoping to get tons of pictures taken so I can quickly make a small "brag" book to take to the lower mainland in April. Gotta show the other relatives what's being produced up in the north!!

Skydiving - ba-by! update
Now I've decided to do either jump in Vernon. The skydive place in Abbotsford has a regulation I can't quite aim to meet in time.
I'm 100% sure I'm gonna do this and it will be a fantastic experience! (as long as I don't pee my pants!)

SKYDIVING, BA-BY!
Well it's official! I've decided to go skydiving this Sept/08 with the accompaniment of my buddy Melissa G. If I decide to jump tandem it will be in Vernon otherwise if I jump "instructor assisted" it will be in Abbotsford.
What's cool is that when I lived in the lower mainland with the fam', we drove past this dropzone on a weekly basis. When we lived in Mission, we passed it every Sunday on the way to church in Abby. So how cool is it that I go back and actually jump where I always wanted to see people jump and land. http://www.vancouver-skydiving.bc.ca/tandems.html
So if we go to Vernon it will be a whirl-wind trip! It'll be drive down to Langely on thursday, drive to Vernon Friday, jump on Sat., drive back to Langely on Sunday, drive home on Monday, work on Tues or maybe Wed.
I never plan things like this but since doing the ziptrek last september, I've got an adventure high going!!
I gonna see if I can bring my own camera and take pics from the air. I'm also going to arrange for an "air video" to be taken through the whole ordeal of me in the plane to landing.

Not moving :(
So here's my latest update which isn't the happiest news but probably is a blessing in disguise.
I decided not to move into the trailer I was looking at. The other girl has such an opposite schedule than I do that I think her late nights wouldn't be very pleasant for me. Perhaps I could handle it for a little while at first but I don't think I should be prohibited to sleep the whole night through considering I have to work at 7am!
So oh well. The blessing part(s) are/could be that there is no high-speed internet out there so I wouldn't be able to do distance education at home in the evenings. I'd have to stay at work longer just to use the computer and printer. Definatley not worth it! The other thing was the house is heated by propane and it costs about $300 to fill the tank in one shot. That's quite the expense! So I think those three things were the biggest aspects that made my decision what it is.
One day, I guess, it will happen that I will be free to be on my own! I posted an ad on the cafeteria bullitin board today mentioning I need a 1 bdrm apartment/basement suite to rent. I wonder if there will be any bites.
I went to my Pastor's house last nite and one of our conversations was about where I was living and how that was going for me. They mentioned their next door neighbor has a basement suite and they would keep their ears open for any good news. So that's cool.
I'm really trying to steer away from bachelor suites as it's hard to entertain guests when the furniture is arranged as it would be...all in one room. Not so inviting, I think.
Anyhoo....As the world turns, so are the days of our lives...haha.
